For Food&Beverage products recommended by Italian consumers for consumers
Winners are chosen through independent labs specialised in ISO certified sensorial analysis, where consumers evaluate products, either innovative or evergreen, through a blind test. For each specific product in test, 300 real respondent consumers are recruited by the labs among those with sociodemographical features complying with target buyers. The evaluation is relative to smell, appearance, consistency, taste and label ingredients. The test is blind (the brand doesn’t affect evaluation) and monadic (consumer evaluation is expressed according to their habits. The prize is awarded to product that reach at least 7/10 in terms of general satisfaction and taste, and 70% in terms of intention of purchase (as well as a higher evaluation compared to competing products).
In Italy Quality Award logo helps products to be recognized on the supermarket shelf, to communicate their quality in a very powerful way and to increase their sales. Abroad Quality Award logo means communicating in a strong and clear way that Italian consumers consider the winner products as very high quality products. This is an important result to tell in a foreign Country in order to increase own awareness.
